Rain, Rain, Rain
November 5, 2005
Tomorrow I start leading a two-week expedition with a group of college students on the Olympic National Park coastline in Washington State. This is an incredibly beautiful section of the Pacific coastline but a very challenging time of year to visit. November is when the Pacific North 'Wet' really starts to live up to it's name. The extended forecast right now is for ten days of cold rain! Personally, I couldn't think of a better place to build character and learn excellent camping skills. If you can manage to stay warm and dry out here, you can camp anywhere!
