Your Kenyan adventure will take you deep into the Maasai Mara game reserve which is home to Africa's famous "big five" (Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo). There is nowhere in Africa richer in wildlife and more eventful in encounters than the Mara.

In Maasailand, you will trek through stunning African landscape with your local guides. As you hike, you will see an abundance of plants and trees that inhabit the land, while learning about the many medicinal and practical uses for their leaves, bark and wood. At night a campfire awaits, around which tales of the Maasai and their traditions are told.

While in the Maasailand, you will complete a service project and visit a Maasai school where you will get a chance to participate in activities with the kids. This will allow you to interact culturally and socially with the Maasai. There is a great potential for your school to make a lasting connection with this community, returning each year to complete different projects.

3 Day Extension: participate in a home-stay with a family on a farm in a rural village where you learn how to look after cattle, pick coffee and tea, and cook delicious traditional Kenyan meals.
