Kenya is world-renowned for its wildlife reserves and spectacular variety of species that can be seen within them. Along with encounters with the Big Five - lions, leopards, elephant, rhino and water buffalo - are par for the course, but personal interaction with culture and the environment form the core of this adventure. Kenya - Safari and Sail, will feature 3 spectacular safaris, a rare chance to live among the Maasai, and an opportunity to sail a traditional dhow boat to a remote tropical island in the Indian Ocean.

Guide: 1 North American guide, 1 Kenyan guide, 1 fully licensed Kenyan driver and private cooks for all days camping.

Transport: Custom safari vehicle, motor coach (2 days), Dhow sail boat (4 days).

Activities: Game drives (wildlife viewing in safari vehicle), walking, sailing, snorkeling, cultural interaction.

Accommodation: 8 nights camping, 5 nights in hotel, 2 nights in safari tent platform, 1 night in dorm hostel, and 1 night on a train. Accommodations are based on double occupancy.

Meals: All meals are included unless noted on itinerary (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner).

Park Fees: All park entrance fees included

Arrival Transfer: $35 one way; call in advance to book.

First and Last Night Hotel: $40 per night; call in advance to book.

Air Fare: In country flights during the trip are included. International flights are not included.

Budget: $60 for meals not included in itinerary, $15 for snorkeling, approximately $200 USD cash for unplanned events.
